As the date of the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, January 22, approaches, discussions have begun on who will be a part of this event and who will not.
Congress has finally responded to the questions that have been asked for several days on Wednesday.
Congress has denied participating in the event, accusing the BJP of turning the Ram Mandir into a political project.
The Congress party has issued a statement saying, "Millions of Indians worship Lord Ram. Religion is a personal matter for individuals, but the BJP and RSS have turned the Ram temple in Ayodhya into a political project for years. It is clear that the inauguration of a half-built temple is being done solely for electoral gains."
The Congress has expressed its disapproval of the invitation extended to Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury by the BJP and RSS, in honor of people's faith, while accepting the Supreme Court's decision of 2019. On the other hand, the Vishva Hindu Parishad has confirmed that senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani will also be a part of the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony. Earlier, there were reports that Advani would not be attending the ceremony.
Apart from the Congress, two Shankaracharyas have also declined to attend the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha program. However, the two Shankaracharyas have issued a statement saying that everyone should participate in this ceremony.
According to beliefs, Shankaracharya is the post of the highest religious guru in Hindu religion.
In Hindu religion, Shankaracharya has been viewed with respect and faith.

In such a situation, when the date of Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha program was decided, efforts were made to know the attitude of Shankaracharyas also.
Jyotirmath Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati has said that all four Shankaracharyas of the country will not participate in the Pran Pratistha event on January 22.
According to Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, this event is not being organized as per the scriptures.
However, a statement has been issued by the Sringeri Math saying that the message is being posted along with the picture of Shankaracharya Bharati Teertha, due to which it is felt that the Sringeri Shankaracharya is opposing the Pran Pratishtha. But no such message has been given by Shankaracharya. This is wrong propaganda.
An appeal has been made on behalf of Sringeri Shankaracharya to participate in the Pran Pratishtha program.
However, nothing has been clearly said in the statement about whether Shankaracharya himself will go to Ayodhya and participate or not.
